"The Moon who wanted to shine like the Sun."Hana is a stoic, reserved presence whose strong appearance asks for respect. She is intelligent and restlessly analytical, always thinking, planning and observing from behind her unshakable, guarding walls.Once an esteemed engineer and scientist, she chose a life in quiet solitude and keeps a safe distance from society. She's a hermit who ventured out into the Uknown and prefers to surround herself with her constructions, the Obsidian—an army of various, elegantly built robots in black and gold. She takes pride and joy in her creations and their company, cares for and builds them with utmost precision, love and passion. They serve as a protective wall between her and society and offer her a sense of safety, stability and control in the overall chaos. She lives according to her own rules, keeps building her own system, her own reality that she can predict and control.She lives in her own little world and has a strong faith in her capabilities of achievement beyond what society believes is unimaginable. She's fascinated by how humans and the human brain function, and she keeps spending a great amount of time trying to push her own limits and boundaries of possibility with her creations.

Appearance

Hana is a fairly tall person with soft brown skin and straight, ash-blonde hair with deep black ends. She's slim and slightly athletic in build with an hourglass body shape. Her sleek face has sharp, characteristic features, a long, slightly crooked nose and narrow, tired eyes. Her right eye is coffee-brown (later golden/amber), and her left (once damaged and blind) is replaced with an advanced mechanical eye in metallic gold—this, she tends to hide under her hair. She prefers to enhance her piercing, typically scornful look with deep black eyeliner and strong, smoky eyeshadow.Hana values practical elegance and perceives clothing as a barrier between herself and the world. She tends to wear nothing but black with the occasional golden detail. Due to her need to feel safe and keep her distance, she wears gloves most of the time.As her story progresses, she eventually undergoes top surgery, and her body will become littered with golden scarring resembling kintsugi. While this decision has also been practical to remove unnecessary parts from her body, Hana is a neutral-grounded, nonbinary soul, a delicate balance between feminine and masculine energy while being both and neither, everything and nothing at the same time.

The Shattered Dahlia

Becoming one with her very own creations, Hana is a marvel of her Obsidian constructions.Her sleek, augmented cybernetic body is the most significant alteration Hana has put herself through. Driven by her ever-growing delusions, fear and mania, she has forsaken her human flesh to become a cyborg. Now, partially free from her physical shackles, her bodily vessel allows her mind to thrive with fewer distractions and limits.

The White Lotus

Jayde is a calm, kind-hearted, selfless soul who always strives to keep a positive mindset. The act of contributing her knowledge and skills for the greater good is what she needs and constantly seeks.She is a passionate medic and knowledgeable scientist who dedicated her life to helping people in need and doing her part in ensuring a better future—at least, this is what she dearly hopes. Besides being employed as one of the lead doctors in the capital, she is a researcher on how prosthetics and various implants may be advanced to be safer and improve human health along with the overall quality of life.

Appearance

Jayde is a young person of middle height. She has soft, milk-white skin and bright, ash-blonde hair that she keeps in two layers: a diagonally cut top layer and a longer bottom layer tied together in a ponytail.Her mechanical eyes are hazel-coloured and can glow in golden colour. They have a strong red tone around them, and she prefers to enhance her look with dark eyeliner. Her facial features are soft-ish, her nose long and crooked.

the desert runner

Aun is a quick and strong-witted, tenacious person who's quiet and calm in nature. She has an overall careless, sarcastic and cynical attitude towards life and most people, and she's never afraid to speak what's on her mind.She's one of the Runners hired to deliver secret information and various valuable packages outside the protective city walls. Members of this organisation of messengers dare to venture out into the dreaded desert to run great lengths between the cities to fulfil their job with utmost discretion and deafening silence. They remain quiet and unseen at all costs, like swift shadows of the Unknown, the Dark Desert—and this comes at a price.

Appearance

Aun has white skin and diagonally cut, shoulder-length, deep blueish-black hair. Both her eyes are replaced with advanced mechanical prosthetics in an ice blue colour, and she prefers to enhance her cold, sharp look with elegant, black eyeliner and strong, smokey eyeshadow. There are also two sleek black titanium rings pierced into her right ear.A huge amount of bigger and smaller scars decorate both her face and her slim, athletic body fit for a Desert Runner. A remarkable, deep cut runs up the left side of her mouth, allowing a glimpse of her teeth to peek through. It continues up on her cheek and across the bridge of her nose, and there is another deep cut across her right eyebrow along with some smaller ones on the right side of her cheek and chin.Aun's left arm is replaced by a prosthetic, one of Hana's Obsidian constructions—a sleek, light deep black arm its material varying between shiny metallic and matte. It was designed and made by her specifically for Aun.
